Welcome back! Now get to work! :)

Welcome back to another fun semester learning graphic design! This semester we are going to get up-close-and-personal with page layout as an art form. And what better way to start learning about page layout than to see what others have done!

For next class, I want you to find a TWO-page spread in a magazine that you like. It must have (at the minimum):
1- A Headline
2- Body Copy
3- More than one graphic element

Once you find your TWO-page spread, I want you to recreate it on two sheets of 8.5x11 paper and a pencil. Do your best to make your headline and graphics look as nice as possible! You may "greek" your body copy but take your time. Squiggly lines are fine as long as they are: even, a consistent height and follow the exact same shape as the actual text in the spread.

TAKE YOUR TIME.

HOMEWORK:

Bring your original magazine spread AND your recreation with you to class on Wednesday!
